This is good but I'm not really sold on the singing

most prefer straight disorted screams for straight sludge (ala eyehategod)

and even when he screams he's not that great, he sounds kinda... uhhh idk, post-grungy (???)

Parts of this are a bit Marylin Manson without the make-up

Dude the vocals are one of the best parts of this, so maniacal at times yet so passionate

lyrics are very good too, something that can't be said about most metal albums...

They sound pretty tame to me, the screaming specially, but that's not even the issue I just don't think I really like the whole sludge riffs + singing, sounds too off to me for some reason

Maybe if they were lower in the mix and the instruments drowned them out
