21st Century Breakdown was way to long.

I forgot to mention that one of the tracks on here (either Stop When The Red Lights Flash or Lazy Bones) blatantly rips off Favorite Son, a song that's 15 years old. Class. Not to mention, you'd expect a 40 year old to come up with a more original chorus than "random phrase repeated 4 times", right?
Also, I don't see where people keep hearing garage rock on this turd.

It is Lazy Bones, but Lazy Bones is a better song.
I still really like Dos, but Uno and Dos are understandably worse than most of the band's discography.
Overall I like Dos more than Insomniac, which seems a little one-dimensional.

Favorite Son is the better song.
Also, !Dos! is their worst album yet, beating out 21CB and Nimrod.

It may be faster paced but the chorus is not as emotional. Also, it is funny you say Nimrod is one
of GDs worst. I'd put 1039, Kerplunk and Insomniac before Nimrod.
Something is just wrong with the production in these new albums. Not the music, but what the music
sounds like if you know what I mean. It's like both albums have some weird, quality killing curtain
blocking the music from sounding raw and real. The guitar tone, the post-production on Billie's
voice, the bass which needs more punch rather than volume. It just sounds dirty, and even 21st CBD
sounds a lot cleaner. Warning probably has the cleanest sound, with American Idiot and Nimrod
following. Simply put, it isn't airy enough and makes me feel a bit claustrophobic.
Listen to Wild One and then Sex, Blood and Booze from Warning. The difference is apparent to you
right?

Kerplunk is in my top 3 behind Dookie and AI. Insomniac comes right after. 1039 is near the bottom, but from what I remember Nimrod is worse.
Also, if anything, these albums are over-produced. Good to see Mike at least give a nod to when he could actually play bass, though - shame it's now just one line of that type per album. And Tre - WTF happened to his musical ability? It just went pffffffftttt on AI and never came back up.
