the fact someone would let someone else adoring an album detract from themselves liking the album is dumb. if anything that should be incentive to like the album more right? OK is marvelous, and captures what it is to be the band radiohead more than any other album in their discog, in my opinion

In rainbows is best but OKC was a tipping point in guitar rock, ‘pop’ culture single handily changing the zeitgeist by its own volition and by being so boundary expanding which adds a gravitas only the truly timeless records achieve. So fair fucks to it.

OKC, In Rainbows and Kid A all serve different purposes and accomplish them nearly flawlessly, so comparing makes me uncomfortable. This alb is completely good as fuck too. Their stadium rock rules, transition to "wish it was 60's" on TT is one of my fav parts

In Rainbows hasn't lit the spark that would make me slap it with a 5 just yet. It's growing on me for sure and I love it to pieces but OKC and Kid A are the classics for me at this moment in time.
