Looks like it was posted before the release date of the latest one, so everything but the new Godspeed. I like the track you suggested, I just felt like it took a little while to get going. I especially liked when the 9 min mark came around. That build up where it just keeps going and going and then just stops at the 12 min mark is fuckin spectacular. It just feels like there was a lot of empty/unused space in the track, but I'm guessing they are trying for an ambient sound with the sound effects and noises and whatnot.

This is my favorite by the band nowadays, and I listened and got into 'El Cielo' first (and ADORED it when I did). But these are just solid songs, and they don't overstretch their bounds. Years later, I can still listen to this entire album without thinking it's a chore.

Ecnalzen: yeah the drone at the end isn't that amazing but the 1-2 part with the strings accenting the beginning of every bar is amazing

Been listening to bits and pieces of this and El Cielo. Really cool stuff so far. So, I saw the massive drop in ratings from their first batch of albums to their most recent one. What's so awful about it?

The producer kind of wrecked it, and Dino Campanella who's one of the best parts of their sound was replaced entirely by a machine. The hooks are lame, lyrics are weird, and minimalist approach was a complete failure.
