Good review, Atari. I've never listened to this band so I cant give an opinion on their music.

"Some of the best vocalists in pop punk have nasally vocals that for whatever reason, add character to the songs. Blink 182’s Tom Delongue has never been the best singer and Soupy of The Wonder Years has vocals that may be even more nasally than Pundik, but both vocalists have proven to be some of the best the genre has to offer."
There is nothing I like about this statement. There are plenty of non nasally pop punk vocalists, and Tom Delonge is far from the "best" anything musically and vocally despite how awesome blink is. Other than that, great review dude. My favorite album by them

yeah i know there's plenty of non nasally pop punk that's great too, but i was just trying to point out nasally vocals don't have to be a bad thing as blink and the wonder years are amazing IMO

Yeah man I'm not arguing they aren't good bands or frontmen, just kinda unnecessary chunk of a paragraph there from how I took it. I heard Sticks &Stones before this when I was 14 and it became my favorite album and definitive one at the time, then I heard this one. Even better

fair enough man and same here i heard sticks and stones first too but this is more consistent overall

A lot of people overrate NFG's actual music because they influenced the A Day To Remembers and Four Year Strongs, but their music was slightly above average at best

Agreed

"It was still a good album, but New Found Glory are never better than when they’re firing on all cylinders"
This tautological statement is a tautological statement. Okay it's not quite a tautology but it's skirting dangerously near to one.
Anyways I really need to check this band out, but the review didn't sell it to me personally.

Sorry man and I dont even know what that word means to be honest
|
| |
You're on the internet lol
A tautology is technically saying anything that is established by definition. E.g., the statement "The earth is the third planet from the sun" is a tautology since by definition the earth = third planet from the sun, so you could just say "The third planet from the Sun is the third planet from the Sun." So if the two halves are essentially the same thing, then it's tautological.
That statement was just pointless because by definition a band that is hitting all cylinders should be at their best

I think you may have misunderstood my statement. when i said it was a good album i was referring to
the album "coming home", then i'm basically saying, but they're never better than when they're firing
on all cylinders (in reference to this album)
