isn't all of hammock's stuff "weirdly uplifting and sappy"? this sounds the same as raising your voice... to me

everything you describe i would attribute to raising your voice... as well. only thing is it doesn't really bother me. i can't pick out individual songs in any of their albums but the overall niceness of it pleases my ears in the background. i don't pay too much attention to the music when i listen to hammock so maybe that's why i'm not so critical of them.
