Album's a lot more pop/rock than anything they've done. It's like Eating Us, but not mediocre. Every song has vocals and a definite pop structure, and it meanders a lot less than anything else they've done - this is the one I'd play if I was trying to get someone into Black Moth. Cobra Juicy might have the best lyrics out of all their releases, too. I fucking love it. This, Dandelion Gum, and Maniac Meat are Tom Fec's best three.

they've always had pop structure for the most part

definitely not recycled ideas. this album is far heavier than anything under the BMSR name. a polar
opposite of Eating Us, and not even remotely similar to the first two releases.
i doubt you invest the time to distinguish between albums, though, since you're so much more concerned
with quantity

if you think they sound the same, then you obviously haven't put the time in. i'm not surprised, as i said you seem more concerned with listening to every single album ever than actually spending time with specific releases
