its almost identical then this, only less proggy and more deathcore-y

but the mountain of shit still is just as big.

Very talented guys, not to keen on the over use of the sitar, but then again that's what makes them the surreal foreign sound I love this album! I like the emotion of the clean vocals and how it sounds egyptian-esque.

Seriously one of my favorite releases this year. Granted i do listen to a lot of heavier bands that most people aren't into, like Oceano or and hell followed with etc. but i have a crazy sweet spot for progressive bands that not only play intricately and uniquely, but actually create an ambient sort of feel with their songs. Any band that can write a song that makes me feel like i'm on some other planet, or creates emotions with the simplest of riffs definetly gets a high ranking vote from me, but The Haarp machine really took the cake for me. Your opinion is your opinion, i guess my ears and mind are just more susceptible to THM, But these guys really do have a lot of talent and it definetly shows. To me atleast lol

I don't want to look them up because I'm afraid it will ruin the songs.

Their lyrics concern society issues, such as environmental and political.

This band is overrated. Sumerian sold their asses even before they had anything out yet, that seemed to draw a lot of attention. Not saying everyone got on the boat with that, but i sure know a lot of people did.

Best thing I've heard from Sumerian in a while, instrumentally. Nothing that stuck with me after first listen. Some good musicians, but the music is pretty soulless. Better than a lot of bands in the scene though.
