Because they're sell-outs with no talent.

Somebody who is afraid to innovate or experiment because thier afraid people won't like them.

maybe they like sameness...?

Thier music does sound the same, but it doesn't really run together... like you can still differenciate from the songs but the music sounds similar.

Sorry I couldn't reply for such a long time, my internet stopped working. I don't think you quite get what I'm saying, so I'll explain. What I'm saying is that Fall Out Boy follows the already carefully defined lines for pop-punk. They don't try to do anything new or experimental. They are pretty much a clone of every other pop-punk band you've ever heard.

Perhaps that's because they can't think of anything new? But either way, I loathe them.

well I would say 2/3 of the pop-punk bands all blur together. i agree with what you said, too, I can see how FOB could be loathed.

this is probably about equal with FUCT tbh. both solid albums, not perfect, but good pop-punk-rock still.

dead on arrival was also a single btw, or at least they made a video for it.

The album cover looks like "Hopeless Romantic" by The Bouncing Souls.

I personally thought this album was a classic. In fact the only Fall Out Boy CD I can stand listening to every track through. But despite the fact they are all pretty cute (and the drummer looks like my ex) Pete Wentz does really need to get over himself. Sorry FOB

It's definitely a good album, but I wouldn't say it's their best.

After hearing Dead on Arrival on Rock Band for sometime now, I finally decided to download this to see if the songs were as good/catchy as that song was. For the most part, they come out with some pretty catchy songs on here, nothing was amazing but it wasn't bad either. The quality of the album also has a nice raw sound to it which adds to a few of the songs.
