I feel the same way. I have yet to find a good time to post a review so it will stay on the user list for a while.
Yuppers. Metallica was the farthest I ever went into thrash territory. This is kind of like taking the singer from Journey and throwing him into a hardcore band, lol.

Great review and amazing album. I remember when the verse of Madhouse came on some game in Facebook. I was 100% sure that this was an Iron Maiden song.
This album is so Thrashy and melodic, its so great. My fav track is probably Lone Justice.

Like I said, I've only listened to early Metallica when it comes to thrash. I'm used to James' weird, throaty growl vocals. He doesn't have even close to the range that this guy does. Do other bands in this genre have similar vocals to this?

Viper makes a good point. When you mention the drumming in the summary, it almost kind of sounds like your entire review is going to be centered on how much better he is than Ulrich.

Thanks viper it means a lot. And I like the instrumentation on lone justice just not my favorite song. Gung ho is much worse though.

Finished my listen. Good stuff. I might even prefer that over Metallica. The vocals are definitely better. I do enjoy Metallica's 6-10 minute long songs though. I always thought it was impressive to be able to write a song of that length and be able to keep people's attention all the way through. Especially the instrumental ones.

I actually like this better than anything Metallica made but RTL.
