Yeah they have always been influenced by Queen, only recently has that influence eclipsed all the others though (they channeled Radiohead and RATM pretty competently back in the day). I guess it comes down to the fact I fucking hate Queen, and I hate bands who imitate Queen even more.

Good enough? So what you mean is they get a D and don't have to repeat the course.

Like I said in my review of this, Muse work when they're fun but I really struggle to enjoy this even on a surface level

Got bored of this half way through - didn't like the dubstep foray. Absolution was this band's height.

Supremacy is actually pretty decent. Growin on me lately, but still, the bad songs are some of the worst muse songs.

The bad songs are a reall torture to the human ear, madness was made by a retarded and stutterer kid with an awful voice and the solo is a joke, panic station is a shitty attempt of a queen song with elements of RHCP, biz freeze is a snoozfest and The 2 parts of the isolated system are a big big waste of space

Good review. Disagree about Save Me though, I think its the strongest track by a fair bit

Animals is the strongest, maybe supremacy is close to that track( despite of being a chessy wannabe of a james bond song)

Why so many 2's and 2.5's? Granted, Ive only heard it once but I dont recall it being particularly boring or average, it was entertaining enough for a 3 come off it...

Im going to relisten to it later i think. I seem to remember it being around a 3 or a 3.5, nothing to special but still a more than listenable album
