This always felt like step in the wrong direction, but i guess they couldn't really get any heavier after The Powerless Rise w/o losing what made them AILD. Still a "fun" record for sure.

Overcome and Defender are the only songs I remember from this.

I still enjoy it a lot, but more for nostalgic reasons. This was my introduction to AILD, so I have a soft spot for it

Yeah this is more melodic for sure, but they still keep it from being somewhat cheesy

Is this the one with the best clean vocal parts? I don’t have much use for the harsh vox unfortunately.

Yep, and yeah this is underrated, probably due to not much attention being given to it.

Cool. Instrumentally it’s really fucking cool too. I definitely don’t feel guilty about disliking Tims vocals now that’s for sure.

TPR is his best performance, felt like this one was a bit of a regression.

Wtf, this album doesn't have best ANYTHING much less best clean vocals. Listen to Ocean and Powerless. This album is mostly a wet fart.

My Only Home was the absolute jam when this first came out

Album was kind of solid on its own but such a pathetic way to go out considering what came before this. Especially since this band crashed into the side of a mountain shortly after.

The band also stained their own legacy by pretending to be christian for years after they had ditched the faith, but kept the brand, stringing their fans along. Tim's definitely the worst, but the rest of the band are also fake cunts as far as I'm concerned. They made some great tunes in their heyday though.

Whatever. They were being fake as fuck but at their age and with families, theyre not trying to fuck up something good they had going for them. Theyre thinking about their financial status and i dont really blame them.
