Six Feet Under's "Haunted" is one of the greatest death metal albums of all time.
It fails at delivering frantic technical masturbation but excels at power, depth and yes - groove.
Fuck modern flipout double bass, compressed & detuned guitars, I-broke-up-with-my-girlfriend emocore verses, intentionally-obtuse mathcore groove-killing blast beats, endless perfunctory shred solos and weak growling. This album delivers brutal power.
