Every single one of their albums is a straight 5 and I will fight to the death to defend that opinion.

Fuckin powerful album, i mean, with 15' inch bass drivers this blows my fuckin brain like continuous gatling cannon shotgun rifle fire. Blissful bass heavy madness of a record. Reminds a lot of godflesh tho.

you probably already found it at this point, but here: https://machinemusic.net/2019/05/29/albums-of-the-decade-aaron-turner-talks-wavering-radiant-and-the-demise-of-isis/

Wavering Radiant is my favorite Isis record now, regardless of what anyone says.

First time going through Isis discog. Having been content to just living with Neurosis, thought it high time I expanded my post metal. Done Pelican, and CoL. Now it’s Isis. And this album went down a treat. Review was spot on in that this is all about the groove, and not the usual post metal peaks and troughs, soft loud soft. This just keeps chugging along, but I definitely got into it. After spending two days with all of CoL albums this felt positively relaxing and ambient. Looking forward to rest as the next two come with some serious reputations.

The last two minutes of Collapse and Crush - could literally listen to that on repeat. Real ear worm!
