Ha ha. Some of those Creed Shreds videos are pretty funny. They just fuck around with live shows and insert different sounds for all the people in the band. There are several of them floating around on Youtube.

Very entertaining album to listen to, but I haven't listened to it in a while.

I gave this album a break for the past few weeks due to Anberlin's new album. I came back to this today to see if I still like it as much as I did at first and yep, I still love it.

Seeing this live in a week

I've only heard a few songs lol, will have to listen fully soon; I just got tix because they were cheap and I dig Alter Bridge

I thought the vocals were the weakest part of this, but they are still pretty damn decent. I was pleasantly surprised by them. Been thinking about picking this up.

I think Leave it Alone is better than anything on AB3. The chorus and solo are so good.

I'd still take my favorites on ABIII over my favorites on this, but I do love that solo. I wish he'd do lengthier solos like that more often.

Sorry, dudes. I ended up buying this first. I will be getting Blackbird within the next week or so.
Damn, tremonti is such a shredding machine. I fucking love his guitar solos.

Wish You Well is possibly the most awesome live experience I've ever had

I am way into this album right now but a 4.5 is way off. There is nothing more to this album than the "cool" factor. Yeah he can sing and he is a great guitarist but there were a lot of boring moments on this album. Its a slightly heavier, but less creative than alter bridge.

While Myles Kennedy works with Slash, Alter Bridge lead guitarist Mark Tremonti releases his debut solo LP under the moniker Tremonti. Backed by Eric Friedman on bass & Garrett Whitlock on drums, this Michael Baskette produced album is basically Alter Bridge with more thrash-metal influence. Tremonti's guitar-work is predictably impressive, while his vocals hold up surprisingly well, despite still requiring work on his range. This is consistent & sufficiently catchy, but the song structures become too predictable as this far from innovative record progresses. There's potential here, though. Recommended Tracks: Decay, Wish You Well, Giving Up & Brains.

Decay is the best track on this album IMO. The vocals and lyrics are pretty rad.
