"Lost" is so good, something about its simple melody up against the ambiguous subject matter and Ocean's detailed production. Same goes for "Pilot Jones," which I used to skip but is currently my go-to."

the production style overall is solid (i love the slap bass on some of the tracks on here) but the overall aesthetic gets tiring about 2/3s of the way through the album. there just arent enough musical ideas on here.
also, i find myself with very little desire to return to it for full listens.

I have so much respect for frank ocean for coming out. Doing that in the hip hop commutity at times can be like taking off your hat and turning out to be a black guy at a kkk meeting. And people actually respect him for it too! I'm really glad to see that people are praising him for it-it's a step in the right directiom
