It was a little boring and I found some of the musicality and structuring on some of the songs woefully subpar. It had a very generic sounding vibe, but at the end, it was a strictly okay rock record.

Seems like a better version of the first album. Mixes some from the first two, but I still like Imperfect Harmonies the most. This one at first seems repetitive by the end.

Completely loved SOAD (all albums) and Elect the Dead. Could not for the life of me get into Serart or Imperfect Harmonies. What little i could take of Imperfect Harmonies felt like it had no flow whatsoever. Pretty good review and seeing as you and me think roughly the same of Serj i think i will have to give this a chance so long as Serj fixed his shit.
Also curious how the other three albums will turn out and then im hoping that once he gets this all out of his system he will want to do a new SOAD album but even if that happens i doubt it will be any time soon :/

Found this an irritating listen tbh.
SOAD are one my favourite bands and I think very highly of Serj's first record. While this is a certain improvement on Imperfect Harmonies, I eventually got really bored and annoyed after a few listens. Doubt I will return.

I agree. There are a couple of good tracks at the beginning of the record. The opener especially is really cool. But that's it. Most tracks are mediocre and the album gets boring quickly.

Cornucopia sounded like whatever when I first heard it. Then I heard it as the opener of this album and it's actually really great. Perfect opener.
