Halpern is easily the group's more talented component.

I don't have nothing against Spencer work ( In fact his work in have a blast and make total destroy is enjoyable), but yeah the clean vocals is the weakest part of this band

Don't understand the hate, album is solid and a major improvement over the debut. Especially in the vocal department.

More melodic than groovy in parts, which I'm down for.

I really didn't like Make Total Destroy in comparison to some of the other tracks. Rather bummed they chose to make a video for that one and not, say, The Gods Must Be Crazy!

Scarlet is really the only song I really enjoy off this album. I guess Have a Blast is alright but everything else just sucks.

Marc's Haunted Shores version is way better.

Marc wrote that WAY before he joined Periphery.

Yeah, sounds much better. Periphery as a whole would be better with a much better suited singer.

I like the guitar work in those songs not the vocals for the most part. Scarlet is the only song I'd say Spencer sounds good in. Only last for two minutes though because as soon as the more harsh parts kick in he sucks again.

i feel bad bashing spencer because ive talked with him a bunch of times and hes a really nice down to earth guy, but his voice in this band just irks me

I'm sure a lot of terrible bands have nice guys in them, doesn't change the fact they make bad music and need a new career.
