I just wanna say that the thing I like about Kant comparing taste in art to taste in food is more the idea that I may have extrapolated instead of him saying it which is that you can have individual elements that taste good but then the product tastes bad or other seeming contradictions that are only explained by emergent properties/ineffable quality that you can’t quite just break art or food down to its component parts and thereby explain its holistic effect
