This record has a lot of history... but to me, that's all it has. The songs are great... just each and every one of them sound the same. I really wish that I could of thrown a higher rating at it.

I like most of the songs on here and can easily see the seeds Minor Threat planted for punk/harcore music, but I find that the songs are often overwhelming and too aggressive to take in all at once.

Could of explained the music a bit more dude, anyone who has never heard any hardcore or Minor Threat wouldnt know what the hell you are talking about. Not a bad review but you didnt explain the music enough.
I plan to pick up this album very soon, Out of Step is an awesome album and ive set my expectations high for the complete discography

This might be late but whatever. What a goddamn amazing album. I love the majority of the songs on here. "I Don't Wanna Hear it" is such a killer hardcore song. The last tracks have some splended production too.

I don't wanna hear it is amazing. It's funny, becuase most of my friends bash me for listening to this stuff.. they're like "it isn't hardcore, the songs are like 30 seconds, and there aren't any breakdowns" Meanwhile they're wearing underoath, bullet for my valentine, and drop dead gorgeous shirts calling that hardcore. Then they see Henry Rollins without his shirt on and immediatly assume he's gay... haha this destroys any other hardcore or poser hardcore anyday...

This is an incredible album it is a hard one to top anyone that would ever think that this album isnt worth listing to is completely out of there minds.
