I love his vocals. He has this way of holding screams with partial melody in such a way that it

clashes against all the instrumentation and other melodies and sounds like a storm crashing down on

I think that by "trimming the fat" and shortening the album some of the internal coherence of the songs has been removed and I find myself bored when I listen to this album when I used to like From Mars. a lot and find The way. alright. I mean, l'enfant sauvage is just plain boring is it not ?

Amazing album. I can't get that 3.5 rating and the hate for Explosia and the title track. They're two of the highlights of the record for me. Anyway, great review, you explained your thoughts pretty well.
