Really hoping the new album is more along the lines of this than Monuments.
Hadn’t listened to this in years but, re-listening once, it’s not quite as stellar as I remembered. Probably peg it at 3.5 rather than 4 but I’m gonna listen a few more times.
Favorite tracks are Panopticon, Violet Rays and Oceania.

Monuments is definitely my least fav Pumpkins at 2.5 (LOVE Tiberius though), while Zeitgeist is a 3.

Monuments is pretty underwhelming but has its moments at times. I'd say It's slightly better than Zeitgeist. The new album looks like its gonna land somewhere in between oceania and monuments

No doubt, with the poor quality of Zeitgeist and the more pop sounding Monuments, this definitely crushes both. The production on this one is just so good and for me, all the songs are good.
