The production is fine and I don't know what your asking with down-tuned. Maybe you have a bad rip or download...

Oh I bought the CD so, I'm sure. I don't like the distortion maybe, thats all and i'm having difficulties enjoying this.

whatever I'm just gonna nullify all my posts up to here, and give this a thorough listen, I think this is growing on me

i have always thought that the distortion on this album was great! its really bass-y and the mids are completely shaved with basically max distortion. i love flattening of emotions.
