"Volerai tra pareti e fotocellule
invisibili e segrete.
Porte ne aprirai,
prati di moquette,
fiori quasi veri
e un senso di potere.
Ma poi ti accorgerai,
che non puoi più volare."

Poi raccoglierai le stelle
Sparse tra i capelli tuoi
Le più strane, le più belle
Sul tuo cuore chiuderai
Se nascondi il mondo agli occhi
Rischi non ne corri mai
Ma tu sola... sarai
Beautiful, nostalgic, melancholic, and potentially frightening music. Buon Natale Sputnik

Yeah, this is one of the finest symphonic prog works from Italy, really, and I'm a huge Italian prog lover. Here, the melodies are awesome, and music is rich. No weak tracks. I wish I could understand the lyrics and sing them along.
I think you bumped up your rating, Sab.

I believe I always had this at 4.5? However I'm very close to bumping it to a 5.
It's really a very cryptic album, but without a doubt the best adjective you can use to describe it is "nostalgic", or "disillusioned". There's a theme of uncertainty, reminiscence of childhood and losing its innocence, fear of losing dreams, and how society affects all of these things.
The track I quoted above for example seems to talk about the importance of giving importance to your dreams (the vocals seem to be speaking of a person who is giving up on them), and how you can isolate yourself from the world to avoid getting hurt by what happens inside it but the price to pay is, well, your isolation.
"Poi raccoglierai le stelle
Sparse tra i capelli tuoi
Le più strane, le più belle
Sul tuo cuore chiuderai"
Becomes:
"Then you will pick up the stars
Scattered through your hair
The strangest, the most beautiful [stars]
On your heart you will enclose"
I really love the image of dreams represented as stars on your hair. Finally the song closes with "locked stars, dreams won't be enough for you anymore, when the sun will come inside". Really I'd say that the song title alone speaks for itself, "don't lock the stars".
I could write a simple translation of the lyrics, but really don't ask me what the precise meaning is ahah

@Captain, try The World Became the World if you haven't yet.
@Sabrutin, thanks for these precisions. I'm surprised about the somber themes distributed since most of the album's music sounds joyfull and optimistic to my ears.

@Jethro: I'm sure you'll react differently to all the melancholic stuff going on now. In the t/t the singer sounds like he is almost about to cry in places

Yeah I can hear it, now that you talk about it. But the instrumental stuff never brings us down, so I find the songs are well balanced between the sometimes melancholic vocals (I still find it hard to detect) and the generally optimistic music atmosphere.
I also decided to 5 the album. Zang! And it's well deserved.

Also this:
"Volerai tra pareti e fotocellule
invisibili e segrete.
Porte ne aprirai,
prati di moquette,
fiori quasi veri
e un senso di potere.
Ma poi ti accorgerai,
che non puoi più volare."
Could be translated into:
"You'll fly between invisible and secret
walls, and photocells.
You will open doors,
fields of carpets,
flowers almost real
and a feel of power.
But then you'll realize
that you can't fly anymore."
I did my best, I don't know how this will sounds for an english mothertongue: translate something it's a really hard work. Surely Sab could do a better job.
