easily the best solo work i've heard from tillman, though i guess this being released under a new moniker after officially leaving fleet foxes meant that his music had evidently evolved from a side project

Yeah, I think this is something he's going to invest a lot of effort into. By far his best solo effort, totally agree with you there.

Yeah it is! Not my favourite on the album though. I think my favourite is Nancy From Now On or Only
Son of the Ladies Man.

I'm actually really digging Sally Hatchet, but it's all so good. Most likely will 4 this.

The opening track has some nice instrumentation too and I like how the drums evolve in that track also.

Do you think if given the chance; Joshua Tillman would go back in time to be a cowboy? Would you like
to be a cowboy Potato?

Really? I love the whole thing still. Just play it from start to finish. Didn't know you were Candian. =P

I plan on moving to Canada for the duration of next summer to see if I like it.

Gonna be rockin' to Father John Misty on the plane... gonna have to, it's like a 14 hour flight.

Do you prefer this, Poor Moon or Fleet Foxes? =P

Gotta say, I think Grizzly Bear's side projects have been more successful. Even though I love this, Poor Moon isn't as great.

Vancouver. I have family there (really esoteric family). Seems like a place that'd appeal to me. =)

I prefer both Fleet Foxes albums over this but it still holds up.

Thanks for the heads up. =)
I think I'll spend a bulk of my time in Vancouver and travel around a bit after.

Ferry will take, like 6 days though. Remember I'm travelling from Ireland man. =P

I'd have to play a whole lot of Father John Misty to pass the time.
