I bought the original album, thinking "Ok let's try at least ONE album of 80's genesis. There was a period that I actually regretted of buying the album, It didn't give me the same enthusiasm like wind and wuthering, now I'm listening and I LOVE IT.

I can't understand how people blame Phil for the pop direction. He wanted to still play supper's ready by Mike and Tony were against that decision. How did the people made him the villain of the band? HOW?
