I just listened to this again for the first time in a while. My GOD it's amazing. So epic and powerful, immense in scale and execution, and yet it never feels emotionally detached.

Robot Unicorn attack got ten times more epic with Blind Guardian.

This is the 3rd Blind Guardian album I've listened to. I can honestly say It's the greatest also.
I agree with almost everything you said too. Except that I was amazed by this album the first time. It didn't need to grow on me at all. But if it does that I can only start to love it even more than I already do.

Nightfall is my fav but this and imaginations comes very close behind ...only own Nightfall,will get this and imaginations pretty soon ...these guys are prob the best power metal band.
