Hmm, yes, but they are more slam oriented breakdowns so they have very little in common with deathcore or metalcore breakdowns. Sample either "Letting them Fall" or the title track on youtube and you'll know what I mean. These guys actually have REALLY catchy breakdowns.

I sampled one track and I have to say it was pretty cool. Normally don't like brutal/slam/whatever death metal, but I feel like I'll enjoy this once I listen to the whole thing. It probably helps that it's only 25 minutes long too.

It's short and groovy, and Matti Way's vocals are cool. That's all I could ask for from Abominable Putridity

I wasn't sure how I felt about Matti's vocals at first considering I don't usually listen to much BDM but they've really grown on me. There is also a large amount of guest spots on the album too If I remember correctly.
