though, i feel like if a comparison of this could be made to stott it'd be the LP (which you rightly pointed out) which i'm not the biggest fan of, relatively speaking to his EPs...

True. The beats seem to be at higher bpm's and thus more club oriented. It's strange to hear the rest of the music get layered on top of them.

However, this was noted by simply skimming through a couple of tracks.
