I can’t believe this album doesn’t have a much higher rating! It’s about as close to perfect as you can get for a Death/Doom/Thrash Metal album. The cover art is colorful and kick-ass, the vocals are sick (very reminiscent of old school Swedish DM), the drum sound and performance suits the songs perfectly, the guitar riffs and flourishes are incredibly unique how they can stop and start on a dime and seamlessly seague between Death riffs to Doom riffs to Thrash riffs and many different little passages in between and the production is spot on. It allows all the notes to ring out clearly while balancing each instrument so that they are all audible with none of them drowning out the other all the while keeping the gloomy and atmospheric sense of dread throughout the recording. This album is seriously one of the greatest and most heavily underrated albums from the shining era of Old School Death Metal, just out on a good pair of big Beats Audio headphones and lay down in the dark and play this album all the way through, you will be amazed at how unique it is and you will hear new things each time you hear it because this thing ages like a fine wine.
