Really? I just don't hear it. I hear more of an alt-country. A couple songs do have a beat, like "Sixteen Saltines."

Very meh album. Some of White's lyrics are pretty great though, in my opinion. A few memorable
moments amongst a slew of forgettable songs. Overall laid back album, good for what it is. Not awful
for what it's not.
I'd say a (light) 3/5
But I expected more.

Going to see Jack White in Detroit. From online setlists he basically just plays anything he wants regardless. The White Stripes, Solo material, Dead Weather and Raconteurs.
