true, and yet they were still terrible
|
| |
the complexity isn't the issue, to me melee combat just feels horrible, there's no weight to it, and without any kind of strategy except 'hit them before they hit you'. The collision physics is also crap, weapons feel lame and powerless and just kinda pass through enemies when you hit them.
The fact that skyrim is still a fantastic game which i love very much despite this speaks to how good everything else is
|
| |
you're right, the game is still amazing, but for other reasons
|
| |
the world-building is characteristically brilliant, the art direction is perfect, and this along with the stupidly large amount of quests makes it one of the most immersive games i've ever played
also, the nightingale armour is fucking sweet
|
| |
and the stealth and archery are implemented really well i think

Agreed with this. Easily the biggest fault of the game along with the fact that your actions have literally no impact on the people/world around you. Game is still absolutely brilliant though.

that's one of the few tattoo designs i could actually applaud

"and the stealth and archery are implemented really well i think"
but way too OP

Best way to play Skyrim yes
Yeah I hate how little impact your actions have
Like I'm the motherfucking Archmage right, and bitches should be respecting me, yet I walk into Dragonsreach and that court jester fuck who thinks he's a great mage and all that is like "You should check out the fuckin mage's college and get your education son" and I'm like are you fucking playing, I'm the goddamn Archmage. Either the makers of this game couldn't program you to say something else once circumstances changed, or you're giving me major fucking lip and I might have to end you.
So yeah
|
| |
part of the fun. the game is far too easy anyway so it's not too big a deal
|
| |
Or the fact that you can become Archmage and know just one or two spells and have a
destruction/illusion/resto/alteration/conjuration skill of like 15.
|
| |
They don't help much, the combat still feels light like you're completely detached from everything.
|
| |
Kinda sucked how you couldn't design your own spells in Skyrim, partially accounted for my general indifference towards training any branch of the arts barring Conjuration (for the dual Dremora Lords, what else?)
|
| |
Oh I'm lying I used a bit of Illusion too. I normally go with heavy armor so Restoration and Alteration are rendered a little meaningless.
|
| |
i think i just kept making illusion legendary by using muffle over and over. kind of a cheat / glitch but i couldn't help it
|
| |
Sure I grinded some in a similar fashion, standing in front of giants and letting them bludgeon me to death, use some potions, rinse and repeat
|
| |
Let's not forget the ultimate: crafting iron daggers, enchanting them having bought out the Mages stock of soul gems, sell them all & repeat.
|
| |
sneaking and archery is def my fav. gotta love those cool kill shots
|
| |
makin me want to play again. finally beat the main quest a few weeks ago after finishing all the other major shit. haven't played any of the expansions yet and of course theres always other shit to do. have to get those crimson nirnroots but i don't feel like it
|
| |
