I came in here just to see if anyone else had issues with the production pre-FPU, these guys really upped their game (for the most part) by this point, but there's a disappointing 'neutering' element to the sound here. If anything it is less noticeable on NJA because I feel like the song-writing style is less chaotic and more about those sick southern grooves. This needs punch it doesn't have. Still a great record though.
