Yeah that's a good way to put it aha, I dunno with this I enjoyed it it's just that I kinda wished it would end sooner at times. I think it would be fine if the songs were varied a little but there's not an awful lot of variation

this album purely is based on the atmosphere that it makes and throws you into it
simple songs structuring maybe if that is what your against but what the fuck
this is a splendid album to re-fresh the shit out of the mind
i must have heard this album about 8 times now
and i am still lovin' it

The album should've been grittier, and angrier. Everything just seems sort of lazy, or passive. It could've been more emotionally intense and powerful. Hopefully their 2013 record will be more aggressive. Not a bad cascadian attempt, but a tad underwhelming for what this style is capable of.

I disagree. There's enough gritty and angry Metal albums out there. It's nice to see something done another way. The vocals are pretty intense though.
