great review, very surprised about the rating but i have no reason to argue it. this album meant a lot to me when i was in high school.

Nah. A few unforgettable songs (Polaris, Night Drive, 23) do not equal a classic album.

"Bleed American totally could be bested. In fact it was. Twice. "

not even close for me. I think nostalgia is playing a large factor here.

ARE YOU LISTENING???? WOOOOAH OOOH OOOH OOOH AAA OOOH

ah i see. fail on my part. or maybe i was the one trolling? yeah that's right. i was trolling.

anyway. those + 'kill' are indeed the unforgettable tracks, but when the other songs are also excellent and flow into each other with an awesome atmosphere that doesn't let up, then that does a classic album make.

They were good before they became emo pop.

sowing: couldn't agree more. for me, if an album is full of 4-star and 4.5-star songs then it's probably a 5, because it's often how it all fits together and how consistent it is that matters. no 5-star album is complete with 5-star songs, at least not that i've ever come across.

You reminded me just how many memories this album carries for me, many as recent as 10 months ago. This is an amazing record, and one of the best in the whole Pop-Punk genre in my opinion. Nice surprise review.

Come on guys. I had to go through this with Knott awhile back. Nostalgia deluding average to bad music again. 23 is still a great song though.

“If only you could see / the stranger next to me / You promise you promise that you're done / But I cant tell you from the drugs.”

Their lyrics are lame generalized cliches that aren't even remotely touching to anyone who has read or heard the same story done a billion times better.
