illusion is okay and artist is annoying as fuck and incredibly samey, their new stuff is better but still not that great in my opinion man. still life has some killer shit on it but the reason its just not one of my favorite opeth albums is because benighted is really really annoying (i just hate the melody dont know why) and Moonlapse vertigo is really boring. But whatever man at least you can dig the peth its all cool

just how i felt trying their stuff. their annoying and I kinda just hate dustin kensrue. @Tyralexy I agree Still Life has the better standouts but mayh is way more consistent still life has a few skippable tracks on it

Agreed, the artist is an awesome album, as for samey, compare silhouette with the title track and under a killing moon with dont tell and we wont ask

lol you cant even do a negative review of Rust In Peace its like not allowed. the only possible criticisms of that album are dawn patrol and mustaines vox the rest is 100 percent perfect
