That sucks. It's not available anywhere else?

Never been too big on streaming tbh, I just load all my shit onto an SD card and play it with Pulsar lol

Could just be a North American thing

Oooh nice, before I got Spotify, I used Pulsar + SD card as my media player on my phone as well.

Haha nice man, Pulsar is the only media player app I actually like. I tried Spotify years ago but there was too much stuff missing so I stuck to doing it this way. I'm sure it's better now, but I just like not needing an internet connection to listen to music.

Besides, I've spent years collecting CD's and such so whatever I can't DL I can just rip to my computer. I have a 512gb card in my phone that I use only for music, plus some backups so I got plenty of space lol.

Yep that sounds like my kind of thing, but since last year I've gone all in with Spotify lol. Black Player is a pretty sweet app too

Never heard of that one, should I check it? Or is Pulsar better? Also just curious, what made you switch to streaming?

spotify overall is p gud, but yeah there is some crucial stuff missing. I really enjoy spotify's layout and access to so much stuff. If I need to look somewhere else its usually just youtube

I was starting to run out of space on my HD lol. Plus I was just downloading way too much and just trying to listen to it all for the sake of listening. Spotify doesn't have as much variety as going out there are torrenting everything, but it's got enough for me at this point in my life.

Black Player is excellent, but it is very similar to Pulsar. I think I just switched because I wanted to try something new. If you have no issues with Pulsar, no need to make the switch

Yeah I mean for being able to just search out mostly 99% of anything u want to hear and just click and listen, its nice. Pretty much anything that isn't on spotify is on YouTube. I just like being able to instantly stream almost everything I want.

Like I said, there is some crucial stuff missing but pretty much all of it can be found on YouTube. I used to torrent/dl lots of stuff. The payoff is better but the time investment of dl'ing stuff isn't quite worth it to me. I just find the ease of access for streaming to be super convenient for me.

Yeah I can see that for sure. Idk, I just like owning my music and being able to jam without needing internet. Of course, when I find new music I use YouTube or I'll just dl it, but I always buy it if I like it. I just like collecting CD's, always have. Also comes in handy when dl's are bad quality and shit cuz I can just rip it myself. Running out of space has def been an issue in the past, but not so much anymore. Right now I have 24TB between my internal/external HD's lmao. I mean obv that's not all for music, but I'm def not running out of space any time soon lol

My SD cards are all music though. The 512gb in my main phone is more than enough for me, plus I have some spares. Obviously, that's a lot of money esp when you add up my CD collection. I've been doing this for years though, hell I used an mp3 player until ~2014 lmao. If I didn't already have such a big collection or if I had to rely on torrents, I'd 100% be streaming. But where I'm at now, I just can't see a reason to switch. I have everything I need on my PC anyway and ripping a few CD's when I find new stuff isn't a big deal.

Yeah my comp died like 4 years ago so I gave up on dls. It was awkward at first but I'm so used to it now

Ah damn, I always have a PC. Just built a new one actually, bit of a tech nerd and I've been gaming a lot since I've been on unemployment. Besides, I can't really rip CD's and do what I do without a computer so I'd def be streaming if I didn't have one lol.

But yeah I mean I'm not knocking streaming or anything, and like I said I still use YT and shit to check new music out before I buy it. I've just been doing it like this for so long and since I have such a big collection of music, I'm happy where I'm at. Otherwise streaming would be much easier and cheaper. And there's definitely a lot of albums (especially dm) that I'm lucky I even got my hands on. I doubt I'd be able to build a collection like I have if I started now.
