it's not their penultimate album, unless you somehow have the knowledge that they are going to retire very soon.



you make pretty hyperbolic claims throughout the review (TDAG has shitty lyrics, for example), and fail to provide meaningful reasons for any of them. you can say something is subjectively awful, but without any decent logic to it you're typing empty words.

So, no, the lyrics to "The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me" are not awful, they do exactly what they were meant to do.

Not liking an album because it's "depressing" or "dark" is completely ridiculous, especially when the whole direction and point of the album is aimed at creating that atmosphere.
