You know, yesterday I was joking, but today I mean it. Grind is the worst musical genre I ever had the bad luck to listen to. I forced myself throught this entire album, and though the first track sounded promising, this turned out to be complete shit.
My ears actually hurt. My head too.
The drums are the same every track, the vox are the same every track and the bass barely does something. The only ok part of the band is the guitar, throwing some cool riffs occasionally, and playing 1 solo somewhere in between (if this is really a solo? sounds like a lick or something).
Ive been into some Crossover Thrash lately, so I thought I might enjoy this. The first and the last track are actually pretty decent (hence the 1.5), and could be the ends of a great album, but the 25 tracks in between are complete shit - and they sound exactly the same.
This is my first 1.5, and seeing as all of my 1's are troll ratings, this is the worst album I ever forced myself through. I really tried and wanted to like this, but this is really fucking shit.
Did I mention my head hurts? I will probably be spending the next hour listening to Elton John and Paul Simon to recover.
