I was gonna give this a 2.5 review, I even wrote half (if not most) of it but I decided it really would be pointless here.

This doesn't justify a 1.5 at all, and just makes it seem like you're jiving for attention with it. It reads like a 2.5 - I would pos, but that wide variation just really irks me.

I'll stick by my 1.5. I forget who said it but someone mentioned it feels like one long song. And that's what did it in for me, hence my "bland, uncreative" comment. And I can't believe people are still stuck on the "it's not metal, so 1.5/5." How about, it's fucking repetitive and sounds like the radio-rock version of everything he's done before?

you're wrong. it's not neige's fault that you got emotionally attached to compositions even more pretty and simplistic than this album. and now you're trying to cover it up with "waa it's not the same" when it is.

NOPE.
Alcest's past stuff was gorgeous. Composition was near perfect on Ecailles. Les Voyages takes it and
makes it repetitive. I can literally FEEL Neige's own boredom on these tracks..

it's so painfully obvious that you haven't actually listened to any alcest other than ecailles. and still, the first two tracks on that are the only ones that MAYBE had better composition than this. the rest was significantly worse. you don't know what you're talking about.
