well, i take back everything that i said about this album, these guys have definitely improved.
so much better than their other stuff.

After hearing The Faceless last offering it's even more obvious how much better these guys play The faceless' game. This album blows TF out of the water on every aspect.

naw planetary duality is way better than this. this is awesome though
|

Planetary Duality focusses to much on brutality and not enough on atmosphere or technical prowess compared to this. I like PD but this is just waay better for me.

I'd take Autotheism over this any day

It's ironic that I've never heard of their EP before but these guys do such a great job with the atmosphere and technicality.
I prefer this vastly over The Faceless.

I think it's because both band names start with the letter F

Fear Thy Evil- this is actually really fucking good. The guitars are the most unique soundscape I've heard in a while. The drumming is very well syncopated to them. In short, they're good.

This is great. Going to have to listen from start to finish to determine if its better then autotheism though. The ending guitar solo in autotheist movement two blew my mind.

The weakest song on this is better than the best song from any album from The faceless

Listened to autotheism again after worshiping this cd and autotheism is still better.

This album, to me, is the ultimate piece of atmospheric/technical death metal. I suppose this sounds like it would be an apt follow up to Planetary Duality, except more atmospheric.

I saw this band live, the bass player was THE BEST bass player I have ever seen live. You should rethink that part of your review. He taps, sweeps, slaps and pops, and follows the guitar. FAR from an average bass player
