First Gmork89 has an awesome avatar and i'm curious how you got a .gif to work. My regular .jpeg doesnt even show up next to my name for comments and i tried a .gif and it wouldnt take it.
Also iambandersnatch is pretty awesome.
I'll agree a little that some of the guests weren't used as much as i had hoped but this was Devin's solo thing anyway but Ishahn, Tommy, and Duplantier were off the chain. Also guy who did the deep vocals on Praise The Lowered.
But to make this a 1.5? Weaksauce. This album at least warrants a 2-2.5 for the awesome drumming from Dirk mixed with all other combined efforts. I believe Devin did a fantastic job with this album. The ending of Sumeria that leads into The Mighty Masturbator are among the best parts of the album. I admit that i can agree if some people don't care for the trance section MM leads into towards middle end of the song but the first like 7 minutes are gold and epic.
I'm personally ecstatic over this album.

this rules
and Impervious, if i understand your picture problem correctly, your profile pic a separate thing to your avatar. if you go to the message boards part of the site and go to 'User CP' and then 'edit avatar' you will get a picture when you comment.

I really like the way this puts the listener inside the crazy side of Devin's head. The musicianship is top notch too. Everything Devin's done is amazing to be honest.

@thumbcrusher
Well when i got to that there was no other option than picking the random avatars they had. I picked one and this post itself will be the one that shows if i have one now or not but i didn't see any option to put my own image there. it was either none or their preset ones....

under the preset ones there should be a box with all the custom avatar stuff in and you can upload a
picture there

I'm not seeing the custom avatar stuff under the presets.

YES That's exactly what I'm not seeing it. It just cuts off under Pre-defined avatars. I'll try it again now and see though. LOL

if it's still not working for you go to the 'for the meds' part of the forum and ask a moderator to see if they can fix it

I'm on my computer at work so idk but i think I'm seeing the same thing as Spag. When i go to 'edit avatar' I have a little picture in the main "your current avatar" box. I clicked the bubble underneath the picture. The other bubble is 'do not use avatar'. The main box underneath "your current avatar" is "pre-defined standard avatars" with pages 1-3 of random pictures that suck. I picked one anyway but it still doesnt show up next to my name so thats another problem since it shows "your current avatar" with a picture yet mine isnt there. There is also no box for custom picture to upload.
Also when i went to the threads i wasnt able to post a thread because i have no priviledges i guess. WTF. Is there anyway i can get another person to talk to an admin or something? I dont want to hunt down people in comment sections just for a silly avatar lol. Idk how else to report the problem.

Of the four DTP albums this one is the weakest, but even then it has its fantastic moments. Some songs are way too long for my liking, but I suppose Townsend intended for that to happen.
