I don't think this album is really your cup of tea. This album is very soothing and natural sounding to me. I think what makes it so great is that even though it's almost entirely electronic, it is very organic. Also every track is a standout because each one has a unique identity, I think every track has it's own brilliance, some just more instantly accessible than others. While it is relatively shorter than their other landmark Ok Computer, they make use of every second on Kid A. It is very creative and original. It is also very challenging for a mainstream rock band to entirely drop their old sound for infinity. They were at the top of the world during OK Computer and abandoned rock-stardom for creativity and this is their testament to that.

I cant believe you gave Amnesiac a 5 and don't like this ferocious. Most people don't like Amnesiac but I really love that album too. I guess it wasn't completely different from kid a.

ferociouslettuce is my alt. and i'm playing devil's advocate. kid a might be my favorite album of all time, but i'm sick of people being unable to articulate why they dislike this album.

i'll clean this up tomorrow cause i'm tired as fuck right now but it's a stream of consciousness draft right now
