"as happens with almost all their albums"
Arguably the strongest discography in prog one might say. Not incredibly long, but potentially any album from the first seven could be called a classic

^Agreed. More humble than most prog at the time.

Think of Me with Kindness is beautiful and the livelier parts sound really uplifting.

Probably the Octopus' track that gives me more shivers, and it's saying a lot. Well done, Kerry Minnear!
I really love the diversity and consistency on this album. Oh wait, it's the case of each of their albums.

That minute between 1:45~2:45 is beautiful and hopeful. It's the perfect example of how human and honest can prog be

In 34 minutes of Gentle Giant you get tastier stuff than entire discographies. I'm not saying they should be worshipped like many people do with classical (umbrella term) music, but really this band doesn't have many rivals writing-wise in recent music.

In recent music and in the early days too. One of the things that most impressed me most with GG music is that they were able to write a true prog and very complex track with many changes with only 3 or 4 minutes long. No other band was able to do that so perfect and so well.
