nightmare anatomy is like the worst album ever but they've actually gotten pretty decent since knives, even with wil's seemingly limited vocabulary

I thought this album was really good, especially for them releasing it in the same year as Disguises.

Seven months after the release of the uncomplicated mediocrity that was 'Disguises', Seattle horror-punks Aiden return with their 6th LP 'Some Kind of Hate'. As with most of the quartet's releases, this album begins well, as Aiden finds their comfort zone with a punk sound that is driven by some impressive drumming. It's all so familiar though, with The Misfits worship even translating to a cover of 'London Dungeon'. Thankfully, 'Some Kind of Hate' doesn't overstay its welcome at just 30 minutes in length, and Wil Francis keeps his nonsensical lyrics to a minimum. Recommended Tracks: There Will Be Blood, Broken Bones & Irony In The Shadows.

I expect better things from Aiden after hearing this album.
