Supporting Man U is a big enough cult that there was a chance you'd be in it.

Maybe if I was English

The point was most of Man U's fans aren't English but oh well.

Listening to this again for the first time in years. I'd forgotten how good 'We Were Lovers',
'Rhododendrons' and 'Vision of Heaven' are

I always thought that this was another remix album like the silent alarm and intimacy remixes, and I didn't really like those at all and so didn't check this out. What's the story with this thing? Has there ever been a retail version or are all of these songs leaked or something? I only started listening last night but all the songs are quality and catchy as hell and scream bloc party at their best. Can't believe these are b-sides.

Also, Leaf Skeleton sounds pretty similar to the second verse of Version 2.0.

not a remix
b-sides

there were several different releases of weekend, each with one or two unique bonus tracks
this is all those bonus tracks in one place, though it was never released as a compilation by the band themselves, just a name given by fans
|
| |
also 'mean' has pretty much the same bassline as 'secrets' from this
|

This is so good.

Emma Kate's Accident is ridiculous.
|

yes, it is so fantastic in its subtlety. these b sides are great, amnesiac quality stuff. where did 'one more chance' come from? I've heard it before but never seen it on track listings.
