nah dead cities and dawn blow this away, this just has that epic double album high gloss 80's thing plus everyone seems really nostalgic for when it came out. Saturdays is the better 80's pop worship record with less filler and better singles, this is a great introduction to the band for a lot of people though

definitely, but keep in mind the stuff before this and saturdays is more post-rock/shoegaze, it's much better imo that's their signature sound. Anthony could never really figure out how to continue with this epic sound so the music after this is not worth hearing

Got Dawn on right now and it’s great, really nice way on the ears. “In the Cold I’m Standing” hella makes me think of AFI’s DecemberUnderground.

Dawn is their chillest album, great early morning music. Lower Your Eyelids to Die With the Sun is one of the best things they have done
