Not deviating a great deal from their prior recordings, New Jersey band Man Overboard deliver more energetic & uncomplicated pop-punk on their self-titled 2nd LP. Now back to being a quintet with the reinstatement of guitarist Wayne Wildrick, it's fairly tight stuff & there is just enough growth & variety evident. Produced by New Found Glory's Steve Klein, the involving hooks are nicely complemented by the dual vocal dynamic & odd sprinkling of fan-favorite gang chants. At only 34 minutes in length & with next to no filler, it's another fun release by this hard-working group. Recommended Tracks: Punishment, Dead End Dreams, Headstone & Rare.

Never really made it past Real Talk. It had some good, pretty great songs but there were some really bad ones that made me cringe a lil bit inside.
