Can't really think of a better one. Love the relative intensity of it. Maybe Heroes of Our Time tops it, but not by much if it does

Couldn't imagine Dragonforce without ZP, so I probably won't listen to their other stuff. Kinda outgrown them anyway.

Soldiers of the Wastelands is cringeworthy and what about Above the Winter Moonlight?

Soldiers of the Wasteland gets big points on my card for that epic rising solo section haha.

"Kinda outgrown them anyway." Yeah they're not a mainstay in my library now, more an occasional indulgence. AtWM didn't get my attention but I'll spin Sonic Firestorm again to check it out.

Dawn of a New World and Trail of Hearts are both decent but the former is kinda cheesy at times. I don't listen to them at all anymore cos I can't stand the noodling, but every now and then I'll get the urge to jam to Through The Fire and Flames

Pretty solid debut for the band, which still contains everything we love/hate about dragonforce/power metal in general. A few songs here seem to sound really similar to one another ('Disciples of Babylon' and 'Revelations' being the best examples in my opinion), but other songs really impressed me, such as 'Black Winter Night' and the beautiful 'Starfire'. Theart's vocals obviously weren't fully refined at this time, as when comparing them to future releases they seem a little weak on the band's debut. Nonetheless, a striking effort.

Didn't like the title track? It was a pretty bold and really embodies their best qualities.
