i mean yea so is symphony of destruction but i wouldnt enjoy an entire album of super simple riffs like that
and its kinda the same story here
tbh this is more of a 3.2 - 3.3 for me but i havent heard it in a while and im pretty sure that if i do its gonna go down

Simple doesn't equal bad though, but I understand people not liking this album. Imo even though this is a little more straightforward in terms of songwriting than albums previous it's just got such a cool tribal vibe to it that the approach becomes really effective.
